ABOUT THE HOST
JOE PACITTI
Joe has designed and implemented professional development focused on culturally and linguistically responsive pedagogy, coordinated district-wide teams to ensure equitable access to rigorous curricula, and aided in the development of instructional frameworks and strategic plans. In his ten years as a classroom teacher, Joe created a credit-bearing internship program and was part of a team that earned the College Board's AP Equity and Excellence Award. In 2013, he was named a Washington County Public Schools Distinguished Educator for his work at the Maryland-based Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. In 2017, he served as the host for PBS39's Scholastic Scrimmage.
