BRITTANY SWEENEY

Brittany Sweeney, a 2020 Emmy® Award Winner for Video Journalist, is passionate about telling compelling stories in her home state of Pennsylvania. Sweeney currently hosts Living in the Lehigh Valley, PBS39's health and wellness program and produces the Your Health Checkup franchise. She also contributes health-related news reports to the Valley's NPR affiliate WLVR News.  Prior to her role as health reporter with PBS39, Sweeney graduated from Temple and spent most of her career working as an anchor and reporter for NBC affiliates in Northeast Pennsylvania and Ohio. When she's not covering news around the Lehigh Valley, she can be found adventuring with her two children, Max and Maci.

GROVER SILCOX

Grover Silcox, a four-time Emmy Award winner, serves as producer-reporter for Living in The Lehigh Valley, WLVT PBS39’s health and wellness program. Silcox has served in various on-air and production capacities with WLVT Since 2006. In that time, he has hosted and produced the arts and culture talk show Counter Culture, the things-to-do show Let’s Go and served as reporter-producer for the community news and information programs Focus and Tempo. A Temple graduate, Silcox has produced, narrated and written award-winning documentaries and specials including the NETA (National Educational Telecommunications Assn) award-winning Wyomissing, An American Dream documentary, Bringing New Life to Old Steel, Philly Firsts and the World War II veterans’ program Pennsylvania Patriots. For over 20 years he produced comedy shows for many television networks such as HBO, NBC, CBS and Comcast. Today, he continues to perform as a standup comedian and as a presenter of a one-man show featuring the works of Edgar Allen Poe.
