gearing up for summer's last hurrah this holiday weekend

Hickory Run State Park in Carbon County has seen a dramatic increase in visitors this summer due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Before Labor Day weekend, DCNR staff is reminding visitors to keep their distance from others and wear a mask. They are also telling people to leave no trace, and be sure to pick up trash.

Hickory Run State Park is a 16,000 acre park with 40 miles of hiking trails and 381 campsites. Visit the park's website to learn more.
