In 2010, Melanie Lino got curious. She decided it was time to try something new, and she chose baking. After countless hours of research, trial, error—and many impressive first tries!—Melanie realized her natural capability for baking, out of which has grown a deep love and desire to create baked goods, full time.

To Melanie, baking is an art form. It’s a place to create unique and unexpected flavor combinations. This is clearly evidenced in one of Melanie’s specialties, French macarons—which have appeared in flavors such as cashew cardamom, lemon poppyseed, and black raspberry coconut. You can find a daily rotating selection of Melanie’s macarons, pastries, cookies, and other creative baked goods at Lit Roastery and Bakeshop on Bethlehem’s South Side, which she co-owns with her partners from Monocacy Coffee.
