BETHLEHEM, Pa. (WLVT) - Four college presidents from the Lehigh Valley participated in a forum Friday morning at Lehigh Valley Public Media.

The leaders from Muhlenberg College, Lafayette College, Cedar Crest College and Lehigh Carbon Community College discussed leadership and higher education in the inaugural Mornings at Lehigh Valley Public Media presentation.

It was held in partnership with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Besides leadership, the college presidents discussed access to education, affordability and workforce development.

"We learn a lot from each other," said Lafayette College President Alison Byerly, who has led the Easton school since 2013. "Each of us has slightly different student bodies. Each of us has a lot of different ways in which we try to address the needs of the students. And so, I certainly felt like I learned a lot."

The forum was moderated by Jen Rehill, radio news director for WLVR 91.3, Lehigh Valley Public Media's new news and information station.

The full When Women Lead program will be televised on PBS39 at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21.
