Imagine being a child in isolation and not comprehending COVID-19. Missing out on school activities, playing with friends and celebrating birthday parties.
Now imagine that child receiving a special birthday message from an awesome superhero or a magical Disney Princess.
Magical Memories of Muhlenberg College and Operation: Birthday Rescue is doing just that, bringing hope and joy into children's living rooms on their special day.
Magical Memories is a student-run organization that visits local elementary schools and organizations promoting literacy and having fun with kids. The students took costumes home and are now sending inspiring messages to children across the country.
Operation: Birthday Rescue was started by Erika Puccio of Forks Township as a simple attempt to send her nephew a birthday surprise. Her Facebook event page was created a little over a week ago, and now has more than 1,000 followers and characters from across the globe.

Puccio asks that you leave first name, age, birth date and which character your child would be interested in receiving a shout out from.
An event page will be created for your child and messages will be approved by Puccio.
