WLVT - TV - For over a year, not much has changed for homeless young adults in the Lehigh Valley. According to those working on the frontlines, the problem is getting worse.
In 2019, a street outreach team working for Valley Youth House helped 109 homeless teens and young adults in Lehigh and Northampton counties. Tim Joyce, a project coordinator for Valley Youth House, says that's a record-setting figure.
"It just shouldn't be happening. I mean, these are young people that aren't being given a fair chance," said Joyce.
