PBS39 is excited to introduce you to Steel Sessions. Our latest original music series, presented by RCN, will feature the best and brightest up-and-coming musical talents from the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. The first ten installments of Steel Sessions will tape over two days on Aug. 13-14 at the PBS39 Public Media & Education Center at SteelStacks, right in the middle of a local music festival that has been quite popular over the years.
Each program showcases a full half hour of an artist’s best original material with no interruptions, giving viewers a complete sampling of what local and independent music has to offer. For the artists, Steel Sessions will be produced by our Emmy Award-winning production team, and all selected artists will receive a copy of their performance that they can use however they see fit. We know that there is an abundance of talent out there waiting for an opportunity to shine, and this one will double as an excellent portfolio piece as these artists continue on their musical journeys.
