VOLUNTEER
PBS 39 relies on a number of terrific dedicated individual volunteers. Your volunteer time and effort allows us to bring you the best in public television. Volunteers are needed for a variety of duties. Becoming a 39 volunteer is a great way to show your support for quality public television.
Please e-mail us, let us know what type of volunteering you would like to participate in.
PLEDGE DRIVES
Individuals: Pledge Drives TV pledge drives are PBS 39s most important fundraising effort. Pledge volunteers help by answering phones and tallying pledges.
Groups: Pledge Drives Companies and organizations are encouraged to volunteer as a group in exchange for on-air credit. Some of the benefits include a "camera pan" of volunteers (wearing company t-shirts is encouraged), verbal acknowledgement and company/organization on-air graphic.
Daytime Volunteer Program Our daytime volunteer program provides an opportunity for volunteers to see how PBS 39 operates by working in various departments within the station during office hours.
CORPORATE SUPPORT
Program sponsorships are an effective way for companies to build a relationship with particular franchised viewers. For example sponsorships can be built around Antiques Roadshow, Washington Week, children's programs or one of our auctions. For more information contact Stacey Scholl
