Create a PSA with PBS39's Digital Innovations Contest
High school students have the opportunity to bring attention to an issue of importance by entering PBS39’s Digital Innovations contest.
The contest, open to students in grades 9-12 from PBS39 Education Consortium Member school districts, allows students to create a 30- or 60-second public service announcement (PSA). The PSAs should be focused on a current event and its impact on today’s high school students.
Students are encouraged to work in teams of five or fewer. All teams must have a teacher acting as its group leader. In addition to team submissions, individual submissions are also encouraged.
Prizes for each winning team will include a $150 cash prize, as well as on-air and print recognition from PBS39. Submissions are due by Friday, April 15 and should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
