Explore Cosmo's World on PBS39
Last Updated by
PBS39 and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources’ Wild Resource Conservation Program have collaborated to design, produce, distribute and evaluate Cosmo’s World, an Emmy-award winning series of environmental education videos and lesson plans.
Cosmo’s World provides educators with the tools needed to teach children in grades K-2 about the importance of caring for the environment. The videos and lesson plans are tied to Pennsylvania academic standards for environment and ecology, which require educators to teach environmental stewardship.
This spring, trees will be the focus of Cosmo’s World, as it airs on PBS39 following Science Time (Mon. @ 5 p.m., Fri. @ 3:30 p.m.). Enjoy the new season’s introduction below, courtesy of Speak Up!
