PBS39 Education Highlights: February

Artist of the Month: Krishna Annambhotla
Learn more about our February winner, a photographer, and his work, “Shadow of the Cup.” 

Scholastic Scrimmage
Airs: Saturdays at 10 a.m.; Sundays at 11 a.m.; Mondays at 5:30 p.m. & Fridays at 3 p.m.
Description: Students from PBS39’s participating school districts are quizzed on all academic disciplines. Students compete to answer questions more quickly than members of the opposing team, with the higher-scoring team advancing in a tournament-style bracket.

What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?
Description: Manufacturers Resource Center and Dream It. Do It. Pennsylvania are hosting the third annual student video contests, in which local students visit area manufacturers to learn about exciting industrial careers.
Dates: Voting Feb. 17-19; winners announced Tues., Feb. 23

Create With Me
Description: Children ages 2-8 will have the opportunity to create fun, educational crafts alongside Pennsylvania-certified teachers.
