Introducing the First 'Steel Sessions' Lineup
Last Updated by
After receiving more than 100 music submissions – and after hours of listening to every one of those talented, interested artists – we have found our lineup of ten artists who will grace the first episodes of Steel Sessions, presented by RCN.
We assure you that selection was not an easy process. Dozens of the artists who submitted were given serious consideration to be included in this first batch of tapings, but tough decisions had to be made. We are confident that the ten selections we made will provide a diverse glimpse into the local music scene in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. Each artist is among the best the region has to offer.
These ten artists will join us over the course of two days – Thurs., Aug. 13 and Fri., Aug. 14 – to tape their respective episodes. All tapings are free and open to the public, and will take place at the PBS39 Public Media & Education Center, located at 839 Sesame St. in Bethlehem. The ten episodes will air on PBS39 weeknights at 11 p.m., beginning on Mon., Aug. 17.
With that, we proudly present our inaugural Steel Sessions lineup!
