Best of all, TeleBear comes to places where children are.  TeleBear has ridden on a fire engine in a parade in Pen Argyl.  He has been to schools.  He has been to a store that had special activities for children.  He has been to Kidsfest in Quakertown.  He has been to Musikfest in Bethlehem.  Every year he goes to the Reading Rainbow Gala, where children celebrate writing their own books.  TeleBear is invited to many events.  Watch for him wherever children's activities are taking place.  What TeleBear likes best after WLVT programs are books and reading, so he often appears in libraries or bookstores to encourage families and children to do more reading.

When you go to TeleBear's birthday party at WLVT, look carefully into the woods.  Every year TeleBear's father and mother come to the edge of the woods on his birthday.  You might see them standing among the trees, smiling and watching the party.  They are so proud of their young bear who grew up to be our wonderful TeleBear, mascot to WLVT and friend to all children.
