Parental Advice
We'll offer a little advice for parents of teenagers. Sometimes our seemingly perfect children become very different teens. We'll talk to parents and counselors who have communication tips to share. Plus, we'll look at the dangers lurking for these young people when it comes to drugs and alcohol. And we'll show you programs making a difference in the lives of area young people.

Drug Abuse
Nearly half of all Americans, 45 percent of the population report using a drug at least once in their life. Tonight we'll look at the many faces of drug abuse. Many times an addiction leads to a conviction. We'll go to prison to hear how programs are helping to change behaviors. And we'll check in on drug treatment centers.

According to the latest numbers, about half a million kids across the nation are in the foster care system. Tonight we learn more about the issue. We'll meet some amazing foster parents who have opened their homes and their hearts to children in need. Plus, we'll meet some very special kids who are looking for a family they can call their own.

School Mergers
We explore the issue of school mergers. We'll take you back to 1964 and hear from former students who were the first to graduate from Whitehall-Coplay School District. Some were thrilled about the two schools combining... others still have harsh memories 45 years later. Plus, I'll sit down with Pennsylvania's Secretary of Education to take an in-depth look at the issue. We'll also hear from disctrict officials at Jim Thorpe and Weatherly to learn their concerns over a possible merger.
