Jeff Chirico

Jeff Chirico has been part of Team Tempo! since its inception in Spring 1999. He reports for Tempo! and hosts Tempo! Extra Wednesday nights at 7:30 and LV @ Work, a quarterly aired workforce program.

Jeff began his reporting career at Blue Ridge Cable in the Poconos and later worked for Channel 5 Berks County News in Reading.

Jeff has won three Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards from the National Television Academy for producing and writing the documentaries Hollywood on Hamilton: Remembering Hess's (2002);  Bethlehem Steel, The People Who Built America (2003); and Make a Joyful Noise: The Bach Choir of Bethlehem (2004) Bethlehem Steel also won the prestigious Edward R. Murrow award in the large market category.  

A Bucks County native, Jeff graduated from Bishop Egan High School and the University of Scranton When not reporting, you'll find him in the classroom teaching public speaking at Lehigh Carbon Community College.
