Kirsten Mikkelsen is a senior Vocal Music major at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts (LVPA) in Bethlehem. In her ten years of performing in the Lehigh Valley, Kirsten has appeared in over 25 theatrical productions. Her favorite roles include Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical, Claudia Nardi in Nine, and Lenny Magrath in Crimes of the Heart. Kirsten’s choral music credits include the soprano solo in Mozart’s Coronation Mass and the alto solo in Beethoven’s Mass in C Major.
In November 2006, Kirsten and her friend Adam Bonanni presented their senior recital, Kiki and Adam: Our Favorite Things, at the Civic Theatre of Allentown, which raised over $1,100 for the theatre. Kirsten studies voice with Gail Grossman of Allentown and intends to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre in college.
