Rachel is 18 years old and has demonstrated both an interest and talent in art since the age of 6.  Her favorite medium is pencil and oils on illustration board.  Her work has earned a first place prize at the Penn State Best of the Valley Art Competition in 2006 and a People’s Choice Award at the Northwestern Lehigh High School Art Show 2006.  Rachel is also the designer/editor of the high school literary arts magazine “Credo.”

After graduation from Northwestern Lehigh High School Rachel hopes to attend the Pratt Institute with a double major in fine/studio arts and art education.  In addition to art Rachel’s interests include music, fashion design and cooking.
